This test provides a comprehensive stool analysis for most common parasites and is done in the privacy of your home.

This stool analysis determines the presence of ova and parasites such as protozoa, flatworms, and roundworms; Cryptosporidium parvum, Entamoeba histolytica, and Giardia lamblia antigens; bacteria, fungi (including yeasts), and occult blood; and Clostridium difficile colitis toxins A and B.

A parasite is an organism that lives on or in a host organism. It is estimated that at least one-third of the world's population is infected with intestinal parasites, making infections with these organisms one of the most common infections in humans. Although these infections are usually asymptomatic and often go unnoticed, some have the potential to become chronic infections and lead to serious health consequences.

Symptoms may include constipation, gas, bloating, increased allergy response, colitis, nausea and distention.

This test will also help identify a Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. H.pylori is a bacteria which can be found in the stomach lining of infected individuals. The infection may produce little or no noticeable symptoms, but can cause gastritis, gastric ulcers, stomach cancer, and other serious pathologies.
